Airport to Dambulla and Sigiriya

Meet your private driver at Bandaranaike International Airport and travel towards Sigiriya. Visit Dambulla Cave Temple on the way, check in at your hotel, and climb Pidurangala Rock in the late afternoon for panoramic sunset views.

Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, and Minneriya

An ancient citadel, a medieval capital, and a wildlife safari

Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress and explore its gardens, frescoes, and archaeological remains. Continue to Polonnaruwa and Gal Vihara before an afternoon 4×4 safari in Minneriya National Park.

Wildlife sightings and the best available safari area depend on seasonal conditions and animal movements.

Day03

Sigiriya to Ella

From the dry zone to green mountain valleys

Travel south into Sri Lanka's central highlands. After arriving in Ella, visit Nine Arch Bridge and take the rewarding walk up Little Adam's Peak for views over tea plantations and surrounding mountains.

Ella to Nanu Oya and Nuwara Eliya

A scenic railway journey through tea country

Travel by train from Ella to Nanu Oya through misty mountains, tea plantations, forest, and valleys. Meet your driver on arrival, continue to Nuwara Eliya, visit Gregory Lake, and enjoy time to explore the town.

Nuwara Eliya to Kandy

Ceylon tea, Ramboda Falls, and sacred Kandy

Visit a working tea factory and plantation before continuing to Ramboda Falls. In Kandy, explore the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and finish the day with a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance.

Kandy to Negombo

A relaxed morning and the journey back to the coast
